We contact logging and oil companies directly to change their environmental approaches that impact the health of indigenous people including wildlife. In addition, we build coalition with International organizations including local authorities and village chiefs in the Congo river basin to assist climate refugees.
Because deforestation ranks second after green- house gas emissions for climate risk. We have noticed that extreme deforestation in the region has led to longer periods of drought and malnutrition. Thus, we are in dialogue with academia to share new science and innovation for food production.
